DEVARIM (Words) 40 x 18 / Collage

I was selected by the curators at Hebrew Union College Museum as one of 24 "leading contemporary women artists" to create a work of art honoring the achievements of 24 pioneering women rabbis at the Holy Sparks Exhibit. DEVARIM honors Rabbi Hara Person, CEO of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. This collage, along with the twenty three other works honoring additional rabbis, was on exhibit at the Dr. Bernard Heller Museum in New York from February 1 through May 8, 2022, at the Skirball Museum in Cincinnati from May 19 through September 4, 2022, and at the Center for Interfaith Cooperation in Indianapolis in partnership with Congregation Beth-El Zedeck from November 7 through November 30, 2022. From January 16, 2023 to June 5, 2023 the exhibition was on display at the Goodman Family Museum, Temple Israel, West Bloomfield, MI. It opened at the Margolis Gallery, Congregation Beth Israel in Houston, Texas on October 5, 2023 and ran until December 15, 2023. It is now on its way to UCLA Hillel in Los Angeles for showing from October 23 to December 13, 2024. Further exhibitions are now being planned at additional locations for 2025.
